Behin Forghanifar
Principal

Behin Forghanifar is a NYC-based interior designer and decorator who is an associate member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She has over nine years of interior design experience in and outside of the US. After graduating from Parsons The New School of Design in New York City, she has always strived to combine her theoretical and practical design knowledge to fulfill her client’s objectives. She also holds a master's and bachelor's degree in Architecture. In addition to her work as an interior designer, Behin teaches design history and design studies as a part-time faculty member at Parsons. Being an architect, interior designer, and design educator, has provided her with a multi-disciplinary skillset that has been a beneficial asset throughout her career. She has worked on both residential and commercial projects. In NYC, she has been working primarily on high-end private and multi-family houses on all scales. 

 

Behin believes in collaborative design, which she achieves through establishing a meaningful relationship with each of her clients. BEHIN means “the best” in her native Farsi, and this showcases her philosophy of creating the best functional yet memorable spaces! Behin enjoys making crafts, playing music, and traveling in her spare time.
